REACHOUT - Humanitarian Emergency Response Initiative

The intervention looks at responding to multi sectorial humanitarian and development agencies by pulling together sector stakeholders in a collective response. The first REACHOUT Intervention responds to the Coronal Virus (Covid I9 Pandemic) REACHOUT - COVID 19 Pandemic Response Initiative is created by the Nigeria Humanitarian Action (NIHA) as an emergency response programme to bring together all stakeholders in the humanitarian and social services sector, including both state and non-state actors, to comprehensively address the socio-economic and humanitarian challenges occasioned by the global Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) in a timely, efficient and equitable manner that ensures transparency and accountability, across Nigeria.

Community Health Support System (COHES)

Nigeria Humanitarian Action (NIHA) - Community Health Support System (COHES) Intervention is an integrated health multi instruments support program that captures medical related data of individuals and institutions in vulnerable communities with the aim of providing an all level support. NIHA -COHES looks to fulfill the following mandate: Capturing medical related data of individual and institutions in eligible communities Provision of drugs and herbal remedies eligible communities Human resource support for eligible institutions within eligible communities Health infrastructure and medical equipment support for eligible communities

National Grant Scheme for Humanitarian - Actors (NAGRASH)

Nigeria Humanitarian Action (NIHA) Intervention - NAGRASH is a funding mechanism that provides grants to eligible institutional members of NIHA that are registered with Humanitarian Shared Opportunity (HUSHOP) as active members. Funding for the Scheme is sourced through multi sourced instruments in line with funding and sustain-ability framework of the Nigeria Humanitarian Action (NIHA) with domiciliary support privilege from Save the Future of the African Child (SFAC).

Gate Keeper – Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Mandate

Our patriotic mandate as gate keeper is expressed through the Nigeria Humanitarian Action (NIHA) National Monitoring and Evaluation mechanism (NMEM). The mandate of NMEM is to pro- vide an open access system that guarantee's - operational integrity, transparency, accountability and probity for all state and non-state actors within the humanitarian and development sectors in Nigeria. NIHA through NMEM shall at all-time use constitutional means to pursue its gate keepers mandates using NMEM which includes: Process monitoring, Compliance monitoring, Context monitoring, Beneficiary monitoring, Financial monitoring, Organizational monitoring, Results monitoring, Evaluation process, impact, outcome and summative through which the overall effectiveness of international, national and community programs are monitored and evaluated to determine if the projects are being run as intended and if it is reaching the intended audience. NMEM shall review, rate and make far reaching recommendation to beneficiaries and benefactors - local and international on both institutional and program status.

FOTAUS - Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile Undergraduate Scholarship Grant

The Nigeria Humanitarian Action (NIHA) coordinated Flying Officer, Tolulope Arotile Undergraduate Scholarship Grant (FOTUNS) anchored undergraduate scholarship scheme is designed to immortalize the first-ever Nigerian female combat helicopter pilot, Late Flying Officer, Tolulope Arotile. The scholarship program goal is to help young intelligent and talented students achieve their academic and other creative dreams through financial grant. All Nigerian undergraduates are eligible to apply for the annual grant.

Humanitarian Shared Opportunity (HUSHOP)

The Humanitarian Shared Opportunity (HUSHOP) is a data warehouse and networking platform that bridges the gap in information, data gathering and management with the Nigeria Humanitarian and development agencies. HUSHOP is digital directory/data-base web application that captures the vital information of state and non-state actors in humanitarian and development framework with a mandate to facilitate networking, information, data gathering and management while also disseminating such data within the varied sector and with external agencies. The system operations comprises of the following thematic header: State Actors (Federal, State and Area Councils). Non-state actors (active and non-active, national and international organisations), grants, data, house, statewide volunteers, library, search, fund me, job opening, employable, news, programs, video conferencing, live chart, group etc.

NIHA, through NMEM shall at all-time use constitutional means to pursue its gate and keepers mandates using NMEM which include: Process monitoring, Compliance monitoring, Context monitoring, Beneficiary monitoring, Financial monitoring, Organizational monitoring, Result monitoring,

Evaluation  process, impact,  outcome  and summative through which  the overall effectiveness  of international, national  and community programs  are monitored and evaluated  to determine if the projects  are being run as intended and  if  it is  reaching  the intended audience.  NMEM  shall  review,  rate and  make  far  reaching recommendation to beneficiaries,  benefactors  and other  relevant  state authorities – local and international on both institutional and programs status.

Persons with Disability Support Programme (PDSP)

Persons with Disability Support Programme is an integrated programme put together to promote the effective and full implementation of the United Nations Convection on the Rights of Persons with Disability (UNCRPD) in Nigeria, as well as advocating for global responsibility for persons with disability through the active and coordinated involvement of representative organization of persons with disabilities at the regional, national and international levels.
